About Atkins & Associates

Thomas (Tommy) started in the homebuilding industry in 1992 with John Wieland Homes in Atlanta, Georgia. Tommy held several construction management positions enabling him to gain a thorough knowledge of every phase of construction. When he decided to leave John Wieland Homes, he was in charge of their premier luxury home community in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Renee is a second generation Homebuilder. She began her career working with her fathers' company in Canton, Ohio as a Sales Agent. She later moved to the operations side of homebuilding after joining John Wieland Homes in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. Her experiences range from accounting and budgeting to custom home coordinator and kitchen designer. When she left John Wieland Homes, she was Operations Manager of the Nashville division.

Tommy and Renee brought together their knowledge and experience and formed Atkins & Associates Homebuilders, Incorporated in 2001. They combined the efficient concepts of production builders with the personal and hands-on approach of custom builders. This combination, along with their experience, values and dedication has been the basis for the strong financial strength and the wonderful reputation they have established throughout Williamson County.

Atkins & Associates Homebuilders continues to grow successfully with over $9,000,000 in sales last year closing fifteen new homes. The company recently contracted to build over one hundred semi-custom homes at Laurel Cove, a Greg Norman Signature Golf course community beginning in 2008 in southern Williamson County. Atkins currently has fourteen home-sites in inventory and six homes under construction throughout Williamson County ranging in price from the low six hundreds to one million seven hundred thousand.

Atkins has a support staff of seven employees, five field personnel and two administrative. Tommy and Renee have varied experiences combined with a strong support team allowing them to accomplish any project at any price range anywhere in the Nashville area.
